Set Up a User for Single Sign-On

You use this procedure to set up a user for single sign-on (SSO).

Note: Before you can set up each user for SSO, you must enable SSO in TrafficLIVE.

To set up a user for SSO, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Menu > Admin > Company Management.
  2. In the Locations, Depts & Staff pane, select the employee whose account you want to set up for SSO.
  3. In the right-side pane, under the Account Details group, click SSO Enable. If this is disabled, SSO has not yet been set up in TrafficLIVE.
  4. Click Update.
    Note: After you set up a user for SSO, he or she cannot log in via the standard TrafficLIVE login method.

    A disabled TrafficLIVE user who has SSO enabled cannot log in to TrafficLIVE.

    A user who is locked in TrafficLIVE can still log in with SSO because a lock only applies to the TrafficLIVE login service. Organizations that use SSO authentication should lock users in their identity provider.
